Until recently, isolated high purity Tocotrienol isomers were difficult to source. Often universities and research institutes had to isolate and purify these Tocotrienol isomers from natural or synthetic mixtures for their scientific experiments. Many of these scientific studies were conducted using mixtures which have differing concentrations and composition of Tocotrienol and/or Tocopherol isomers. This resulted in some experiments yielding different outcomes and conclusions.
